Welcome Back to the The Forecast!!

The Forecast are slated to begin their newest full length here at Nada with producer John Naclerio in December, 2011. This will be their 3rd album recorded and produced here.

The first was "In The Shadow of Two Gunman" (Victory Records, 2006) and the second being "The Forecast" (Eyeball Records, 2010). Words cannot describe what a momentous occasion this will be for us at the studio and we can't wait to get the guys and gal back in the hot seat. Saddle up kids, I smell Atlantic City in the wind!

November saw a few new bands and a few Nada staples. Hollander returned to track four new tunes. Camryn Monteforte and the boys never disappoint when it comes to writing catchy ass hooks. We also saw the return of Waking Nelson, Asmara, Social Standards, Neury Luciano, Peter JRB, and Joe Dingwall.

November newcomers include Go For Launch and the 2011 Break Contest winners Mazmyth. All great, fun bands that I hope you see a lot more of in 2012!!

November mastering sessions include:
Asteria, They've Shot Flanigan, The Washingtons, Fingers Crossed, Dan Cochems, Forget December, Calamity Menagerie, Chemistry, Hampshire, and White City.

The Audition were back again for their newest 6 song EP. This is the 3rd record we have produced here for this amazingly prolific band. The first being "Controversy Loves Company" (Victory Records, 2005) and the second being "Champion" (Victory Records, 2008). Since they've been here our vocabulary has grown to include the words "Roy, Coy, Soy, Doy, Crumb and Buster"

Holy rock and roll Batman!! Valley of the Sun brought the rock!! Whisky drinkin' dirty stinkin' bikers from Cincinnati, Ohio. If Monster Magnet, The Sword and Black Sabbath all had Chris Cornell as their vocalist it might come close to how these guys sound. Amazing.

Kill The Drive from Israel was in for the month of April tracking their 12 song LP. This album is a must for fans of Bad Religion, Green Day and any other band that just plain rocks out. I expect nothing but good things from my little Jewish friends and I already miss them terribly.

Hello Everyone!

OK, so here's the deal... November 2010 marked our 15th year in business. During those years we've recorded thousands of bands using Pro Tools as our primary format, but we started out using the old reliable ADAT machine.

As a rule, we archive everything we've ever recorded and keep it all in the "safe". Some of you have received copies of your session files, but some of you have not. In an effort to help you reconnect to your original, (probably outdated) Nada recording sessions, we are now offering a digital transfer package as follows:

ADAT to Pro Tools Transfer (1-5 songs) $100

ADAT to Pro Tools Transfer (6-15 songs) $150

These transfers include backup DVD's

New, remix and master of old source material - $100 a song (from original ADAT or Pro Tools recording)

DVD of Pro Tools session files - $15 per disc

Nada Recording Studio

Located in New Windsor, NY (about one hour north of NYC), is a full service digital studio. Our capabilities include tracking, mixing and mastering of your session.

Nada got it's start in 1995 as a small project studio until 2003 when we moved to our current multi-room facility. The studio is owned by producer John Naclerio, whose extensive list of credits include such bands as My Chemical Romance, Senses Fail, and Brand New and labels such as Victory Records, Trustkill Records, and Island/Def Jam.

Our goal is to make every project, big or small, sound like a major label recording at a demo price. To achieve these sounds the studio features high quality instruments, amplifiers, and drums. We also feature some of the best in outboard gear coupled with high quality plug-ins to get the most out of your session.

Nada Recording Studio is one of the only true "all-in" studios in the country. We not only provide the room, an extensive gear list, engineers, and producers at one flat price, we have the ability to record, mix, and master a session for that same rate.
